The moth of August

August 4, 2011 By Gail 27 Comments

We recently purchased an IPad 2, and have been extremely pleased with its versatility and capabilities. Because our electricity was taken out by the morning storm, I took the IPad onto our deck in the early evening light and did my journaling with the help of batteries. Hours passed, the sunlight faded, and the glow of the IPad started causing a handful of moths to visit. Mid-word I’d have a fluttering wing flop on the screen or a clumsy flight pattern hit my face. It was rather comical and I pretended my writing was so fabulous even the insects had to read it.
When the hum of the air conditioner started, I knew my magical time with the moths was ending. My husband ventured inside and switched on the house lights. The gift of electricity had been restored. Somewhat sadly I gathered my papers and IPad and left the night air. The comforts of home were once again intact, yet the warm summer night and the dance of the moths lingered on my skin. It was the best part of my day.

I have to show appreciation to this writer just for rescuing me from such a scenario. Just after searching throughout the internet and seeing suggestions which were not pleasant, I figured my entire life was done. Being alive without the presence of strategies to the difficulties you’ve resolved as a result of the posting is a serious case, as well as the ones that could have in a wrong way damaged my entire career if I had not noticed your website. Your primary natural talent and kindness in touching a lot of things was priceless. I am not sure what I would’ve done if I had not come upon such a step like this. I am able to at this point relish my future. Thank you very much for the high quality and sensible guide. I will not hesitate to endorse your web page to anybody who should have recommendations about this subject.
